Study of brushes 1- Mop Brush

While doing some sketches I had a bright idea to do a study of brushes. In the picture to the left is a mop brush which is usually large and round with a point made with soft hair. Originally I started learning with watercolors and this brush is mainly used for wetting the paper since you cannot use watercolors without water. I also learned that it is good to use for large areas/projects. This is good for skies, bodies of water, and blending colors. This is also good to use for a wet-into-wet technique were you apply wet paint onto a wet painting surface.
