Study of brushes 2- Angle Brush Part 2

This is the first thing I learned how to do with an angle brush. As you can see I used water color with this painting and the most important thing I learned was to apply a heavy coat of paint on the outside of the petal and then slowly water it down into the inside of the petal. You can also apply more water to the inside of the petal or lift off some of the color with a wet paper towel. Then you just add more petals and you are finished! You can also trace out your flower on your paper before you start to help you if it is your first time painting a rose.
